We are proud to share that WePlanet Africa is now officially registered as an NGO in Kenya.
This milestone strengthens our ability to:
- Expand our Just Stop Cooking campaign, accelerating Africa’s transition from biomass fuels to clean cooking.
- Advance nuclear energy education and stakeholder engagement, ensuring Africa’s energy future is safe, sustainable, and equitable.
- Deepen our work on climate, energy access, and innovation across the continent.
Becoming a legally recognized NGO in Kenya provides us with a platform to engage more effectively with governments, development partners, and communities — and to scale the impact of the work we’ve already begun.
This is not just about registration. It’s about unlocking Africa’s potential through clean, reliable energy and science-driven solutions.
