WePlanet Africa is leading the conversation on Africa's energy future. We believe that nuclear energy is a premium resource that is clean, stable, and scalable, that is essential for fueling the continent’s industrialization and sustainable development.
Our campaign advocates for the adoption of nuclear energy for its incredibly low carbon footprint and its ability to provide baseload power. Unlike other sources, nuclear offers the capacity to operate continuously and reliably, ensuring energy security for growing economies.
The Ugandan government is placing a multi-decade bet on nuclear power to end the era of frequent blackouts – a promise anchored in the Energy Policy for Uganda 2023.
